Lines continue to blur between television networks and streaming video platforms. Networks such as CNN, HLN and now FOX have joined the TV Everywhere movement, restricting free, unlimited viewing of their most popular programs. Walmart also entered the game by offering streaming movies on the web the same day they drop on DVD. This week, Nielsen issued a fascinating survey comparing the viewing habits of Netflix and Hulu subscribers; while the whopping majority of Hulu users watch content on their computer screens, Netflix subscribers choose to stream a wider array of devices.
